Six Gun Grill BBQ Seasoning 1kg is a renowned South African spice blend produced by Crown National, a company with a rich history dating back to 1912. The seasoning's origins trace back to the 1970s and 1980s, a period of significant change in South Africa. During this time, Crown Mills, the predecessor of Crown National, served as the agent for BBQ King rotisseries. Their signature product, BBQ King Chicken Seasoning, was a staple in the fast-food industry. However, international sanctions during the anti-apartheid movement led to American suppliers discontinuing sales to South Africa. In response, Crown Mills' Research and Development team, led by Technical Director Len Nijkamp, developed a replacement seasoning, resulting in the creation of Six Gun Grill. 

Six Gun Grill quickly gained popularity for its versatility and bold flavor, becoming a staple in South African kitchens.
